Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) encourages peace and social justice, working to alleviate poverty around the world. Our immediate efforts serve the poorest communities in Haiti with programs in education and training in creative industries, while expanding our reach globally, partnering with effective local organizations to give young women access to quality education. We empower Haitians to work with other Haitians and that is how we are successful.

Our model is simple: we believe in empowering local communities through direct partnership, knowing that solutions are found among those closest to the problem.

We believe that citizens everywhere have a responsibility to make our world a better place. We also believe that artists must play a special role, using our creativity and cultural influence to inspire and accomplish change.
APJ actively looks to collaborate with those committed to advancing peace and social
justice in communities of greatest need. These are the founding principles of Artists for Peace and Justice.– David Belle, Board Member

We believe in 100% impact

Artists for Peace and Justice is proud to follow a 100% policy: every single penny donated by the general public goes directly to our programs.

How do we do this?
We have committed brand partners whose annual financial support pays for our administrative and fundraising costs.
