DREAMING WITH DIGNITY

For APJ, there is no greater gift than the opportunity to empower youth in struggling communities to dream of pursuing a career, rather than simply surviving. APJ supports dignified, full and comprehensive education programs.

Our Work

Why artists support APJ

  • My philosophy has always been 'think globally, act locally' when it comes to activism. If you can find local organizations that are already effective, it's better to support them than to bring foreign aid and distribute it in a blanket fashion, never understanding what’s actually needed. APJ was my effective way of giving back to a country that I care very much about. It's an incredible organization.

  • I've been looking for the longest time for an organization that would actually do something and that you could see the real results.  APJ has been one of the most amazing foundations that I've come across. It's going to be a lifelong commitment. When I went to the Institute my heart was opened in a way I've never experienced before.

  • The work of Artists for Peace and Justice, so essential to the present and futures of thousands of children in Haiti, has been a part of our lives for years.  As supporters of APJ’s mission to foster economic growth and empower local communities, we are honored to help steward the mission of the organization into the future.

  • My relationship with Artists for Peace and Justice is one of longevity and friendship. We believe that music is a universal language, one that can unite people and cultures to create change.
